What is this?
This event is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! NO ENTRY FEE!
Justin is an internationally renowned gemcutter and gemstone historian. He is an American gemcutter who has been living and working in Bangkok. In addition to many other credits, Justin is the curator of the Museum of Faceting Technology and author of The Secret Teachings of Gemcutting. You can also check out his youtube series about various different lapidary topics, and has interviewed lapidary and jewelry artists from faceter Lisa Elser, jet carver Imogen Redvers-Jones, to master jeweler Jason Machiafava, and many more.
He will be presenting a talk called Pioneering the American Faceting Movement. You don't have to be a faceter to enjoy this, Justin is a captivating speaker. He will be available for questions after the presentation.
To be able to accommodate as many people as possible, we have rented the American Legion Hall on Crownsville Rd in Annapolis, Maryland around the corner from the guild shop.
We plan to make this a hybrid meeting, and will use the General Meeting Zoom link to do so.
